It’s All About Energy… Tune Your Vibrations With Sound

Did you know, you and everyone else is made up of energy vibrations?

Every thing within the Universe, animated or unanimated, solid matter and mere thought, is made up from, and held together with energy. Yes, it’s true. The chair you are sitting in, the music you might be listening to, the food you ate for dinner, and even your neighbor’s cat… everything is essentially made of and held together with energy.

Within this energy, very small particles of matter vibrate at specific frequencies, which in turn manifest into different physical and nonphysical forms. Physical objects, sound and light, and even our thoughts and dreams are permeated with, formed by, and projected out into reality by Energy.

Our physical bodies have a slower vibration, while our emotions and thoughts have a higher and faster vibration. Therefore, the slower the vibration, the more dense and solid the matter appears, and, the higher the vibration, the less solid, like in the case of our thoughts and feelings (which are similar in density to sound and light).

Our bodies (which are permeated with and held together by energy) will tend to resonate with the sympathetic vibration of our feelings and thoughts (thus, our physical bodies are actually influenced by, and even formed by our thoughts and emotions). Our bodies will also pick up on the energies that are around us, and also, attract people “resonating” at a similar frequency. That is the reason behind the idea “Like Attracts Like”.

So how can we elevate what our bodies attract, and attract people and events that will help to advance us? We can elevate our vibrations by elevating our thoughts and emotions. Sounds simple, doesn’t it? If we can learn to control our thoughts and emotions, it will create higher vibrations. These higher vibrations will allow us to tap into the vibrations of the Universe to bring about all what we want by manifesting our desires… but you probably have already tried to “control” your thoughts and emotions, and know how far that kind of “control” goes….

Exposing your mind and body directly to a positive resonant frequency through the use of sound therapy techniques can be a viable short cut to changing your own resonant frequency. Think about it- sound is a fundamental and uniting resonant energy, and used correctly, it can directly and positively effect your own resonate frequency very quickly and easily.

Binaural beats can very directly and easily influence your vibration positively. If two different tones are played into each ear, the brain attempts to find a balance- for example, if the frequency of sound in your left ear is 420Hz, and the frequency you’re hearing in your right ear is 430Hz, your brain will process a binaural beat of about 10Hz. It’s been discovered that these beats can be used to elicit responses in the brain; the brain becomes “entrained”, which means it starts to resonate at the same frequency as the binaural beat. When this happens, it can change the brain wave patterns in your brain temporarily. This has been shown to have a huge effect- it’s been shown that binaural beats are highly effective at inducing meditative and hypnotic states. This is a great breakthrough for anyone wants to meditate, but didn’t have the time or teacher to learn how. This type of meditation is also more effective than usual meditation because of the binaural beats. It can reduce your stress levels, the amount of sleep you need, and it can increase such things as intelligence, intuition and creativity, and a creative Sound Therapist can further fine tune the frequencies of the sound to “put you in tune” with the more intangible vibrations of success, happiness, and much more.

What are Chakra Healing Sounds?

Chakra is a Sanskrit word meaning “spinning wheel of energy”. These energy centers within our bodies receive and transmit energy, and each is situated at a major endocrine gland, and nerve bundle within the physical body, called a plexus. Each Chakra is connected and associated with a different part of the body, as well as different emotions, thoughts and spiritual states. There are seven major Chakras. Each chakra has a color, and different gemstones and crystals can be associated with these, as well as different sounds.

Understanding and using your chakras can promote physical, emotional and spiritual healing. In an “East meets West” coincidence, the Solfeggio frequencies correspond to the Chakra tones, with the Crown Chakra vibrating at 960 Hz. The subliminal and self hypnosis programs on this website utilize the various Chakra tones associated with the issues addressed in the program to help heal body, mind and soul.

The Root Chakra is located at the base of the spine. It is closest to the Earth, and can be utilized for Earthly grounding. It controls your physical vitality, ‘flight or fight’ response, physical survival instincts, and the emotions of desire, anger, jealousy and greed. The First, or Root, Chakra governs life lessons involving the lessons of the material world, such as survival, and stores information involving family beliefs and loyalty, you ability to stand up for yourself, superstition, instincts, physical pain or pleasure, and touch. Your sense of self esteem, safety and security are also based here. An imbalance in the First Chakra may be indicated by a loss of interest in the ‘real world’ and practical survival, obsessions and addictions, volatile emotions, selfishness, restlessness and a lack of energy.

The Navel Chakra is located just below the navel, about 2-3 fingers. It is also known as the Sacral, or Second Chakra. In Martial Arts, it is called the “Hara”. It represents your sexuality, creativity, self esteem, pleasures and frustrations. The Second Chakra governs life lessons involving blaming and guilt, manifesting, money and prosperity, sex, power, control, and it is the base of you creativity and sense of morality. Information stored in the Second Chakra involves feelings of duality, personal magnetism, your patterns of control, your sociability, and emotions and feelings. An imbalance in the Second Chakra may be experienced as an eating disorder, drug or alcohol addiction, depression, and intimacy issues, including impotence and frigidity.

The Solar Plexus Chakra is just above your navel, at the center of your solar plexus. Emotional memories are stored here, and it’s where your ‘gut feelings’ come from. It is the seat of your emotional life, and many of us are naturally connected to our environments through this chakra. The Solar Plexus, or Third Chakra, governs life lessons involving your self esteem, a fear of rejection or an oversensitivity to criticism, distorted self-image, and a fear of your “secrets being found out”. Information stored in the Third Chakra involves your personal power, your personality, your sense of ‘knowing’ and your sense of belonging. An imbalance in the Third Chakra may manifest as a difficulty concentrating, a poor ability to make decisions, or to judge a situation accurately, a feeling that you are more important, or less than, than other people and trouble taking action or getting things done.

The Heart Chakra is in the heart. It is the center for unconditional love, tolerance, empathy, forgiveness, and compassion. It is the seat of the soul. The Heart, or Fourth Chakra, governs life lessons involving love and compassion, self confidence and self acceptance, inspiration and hope, generosity, and on the flip side, feelings of despair, hate, envy, fear, jealousy, and anger. Information stored in the Heart Chakra includes the connections or “heart strings” to those we love. An imbalance in the Heart Chakra may be felt as a lack of self discipline, difficulty in relationships, attempts to live vicariously through others, and depending on someone else for your happiness.

The Throat Chakra is located in the throat, near the thyroid gland. It is the chakra of communication, expression and judgment. The Throat, or Fifth Chakra, governs life lessons of self expression and speaking one’s truth, creativity (especially writing or speaking) faith, and making decisions and will power. On the flip side, issues of addiction, the need to criticize, lack of authority, and indecisiveness. Information stored in the Fifth Chakra includes self-knowledge and truth, attitudes, and the senses of hearing, taste, and smell. An imbalance in the Throat Chakra can be felt as difficulty in self expression, poor learning ability, habitual lying, fear, doubt, and uncertainty.

The Brow Chakra is located in the center of the brain (not the center of the forehead), and is also known as “the Third Eye”. This chakra governs spiritual direction and wisdom. It is the seat of dreams, inner vision, and the spiritual life. Life lessons centering around the Brow Chakra include understanding, “reality checks”, detachment, open mindedness, trusting your intuition and insights, and developing your psychic abilities. Self-realization, and releasing hidden and repressed negative thinking. The information stored within the Third Eye Chakra include seeing things clearly (symbolically or literally), wisdom, intuition, and intellect. An imbalance in the Sixth Chakra might be felt as a learning disability, co-ordination problems, or sleep disorders.

The Crown Chakra is located at the crown of the head. It balances the inner and outer person, and is the connection for the higher self. It is the channel through which we receive divine guidance, purpose and wisdom. Life lessons to be learned through the Crown Chakra are intuitive knowing, integration of the whole Self, spirituality, living in the now, discovery of the Divine, the ability to see the big picture in the stream of Life, devotion, inspiration, values ethics, trust, selflessness, humanitarianism. The information stored in the Seventh Chakra includes your connection to the Divine, your life’s purpose, your connection to past lives, and Immortality. An imbalance in the Crown Chakra may be felt as lack of purpose, loss of meaning or identity, mental illness, and senility.

What Are Solfeggio Frequencies?

These original sound frequencies were used in Ancient Gregorian Chants, such as the great hymn to St. John the Baptist. The chants and their special tones were believed to impart tremendous spiritual blessings when sung in harmony during religious masses.

The Six Solfeggio Frequencies include:

1. UT – 396 Hz – Liberating Guilt and Fear

2. RE – 417 Hz – Undoing Situations and Facilitating Change

3. MI – 528 Hz – Transformation and Miracles (DNA Repair)

4. FA – 639 Hz – Connecting/Relationships

5. SOL – 741 Hz – Awakening Intuition

6. LA – 852 Hz – Returning to Spiritual Order

These frequencies are reputed to have many psycho-spiritual and physical healing benefits- the third note, frequency 528, relates to the note MI on the Western musical scale, and derives from the phrase “MI-ra gestorum”, which in Latin means “miracle.” Amazingly, this is the exact frequency used by genetic biochemists to repair broken DNA, the genetic blueprint upon which life is based!

What is Therapeutic Sound?

Modern science is only now beginning to recognize what the ancient mystics and wise men have told us for centuries; that everything (including you) is in a constant state of vibration. The most elemental state of vibration is that of sound. Everything has an optimum range of vibration, and that rate is called resonance. When we are in resonance, we are in balance. One way to use sound to heal the body is to recognize that every organ, and every cell, absorbs and emits sound, and has a particular optimum resonate frequency. By exposing the body and brain to certain therapeutic sound frequencies, they will begin to “resonate” with those sound freuqencies, much like a drum that begins to vibrate with the rythms around it.

Emotions and mental states also have certain resonant frequencies; this is the secret behind the transformative power of spiritul music and song, spoken prayers and mantras. When exposed to a resonant frequency long enough, the body (and mind) will fall into sync; if you have ever been to a large rock concert or a rave, you will understand this. If you sing in a choir, or regularly meditate with mantras, you will intuitively understand this too, because you have experienced it. Therapeutic sound and sound therapy techniques are used to realign the “out of sync frequencies” you may be experiencing within you mind or body, by exposing you to the optimum sound frequencies for the changes you wish to make within yourself.
