Payment Options
(1) The payment option for the MP3 and eBook downloads is through Pay Pal.
(2) The payment option for CD's and paperbacks is credit card, made through our print-on-demand supplier, CreateSpace.com an Amazon.com affiliated company. If you have a Pay Pal debit card, they do accept that.
Why two seperate payment options?
Because there are two seperate delivery systems....
(1) The MP3's and eBooks are delivered through a secure system installed on this site, which is triggered through the Pay Pal buttons. The system can verify if the payment has been made, then deliver the e-mail
with the link for your download. You can use your credit card through Pay Pal without having a Pay Pal account.
(2) The CD's and paperbacks are printed one at a time and delivered to our customers, through CreateSpace.com. They are an Amazon.com affiliated company, and unfortunately, they don't accept PayPal, but they do accept the Pay Pal debit cards, since those are backed by Master Card.
They accept all major credit cards through their secure credit card processing system.
Do you accept checks and money orders?
No, unfortunately, we can't. Our automated MP3/eBook delivery system is only set up for Pay Pal, and our paperback and CD supplier, CreateSpace.com only takes credit cards.
What about shipping and delivery?
(1) The MP3's and eBooks are delivered digitally, via an e-mail link. Once a payment clears through Pay Pal you will recieve an e-mail titled "Download Invitation" with a username, password and a link to retrieve your digital purchase.
(2) The CD's and paperbacks are printed and packaged individually for each customer through CreateSpace.com. They are based in Northern California. They offer several very reasonable shipping options through the U.S. Mail and Fed Ex. They don't post the shipping costs, since each location is different,
and the paperbacks are calculated by weight, but our experience has been as little as $3.00 for an average paperback shipped economy, and a single CD generally costs $3.00 for economy shipping. Economy shipping will generally get to you within 2-3 weeks, maybe less. They also offer expedited shipping options. You can track the progress of your CD or paperback purchase
through CreateSpace.
Do you accept International payments? Do you ship globally?
Absolutely! The digital products (MP3's and eBooks) can go anywhere an e-mail can go, and anywhere Pay Pal is accepted. Click HERE for a listing of countries where Pay Pal is accepted.
The paperbacks and CD's can also be shipped globally through CreateSpace. Click HERE for their international delivery information.
What about returns and refunds?
(1) For downloadable products, if you have trouble downloading, or missed the "Download Invitation" e-mail, we can resend the link. If it is really not what you wanted or expected, we can refund your money through Pay Pal within 30 days.
(2) For CD's and paperbacks, you can return defective products within 30 days to CreateSpace.com. For a refund, return unopened CD's within 30 days. For more information, refer HERE.
Digital Products VS Hard Copies
Should you purchase an MP3 or an eBook, or should you go with a CD or paperback?
This is, of course, a matter of personal preference, but if you do not have experience with downloading zipped files, using MP3's, have an old computer, a slow dial-up internet connection, or have a strong sense of "techno-phobia", getting the CD's or paperback books from our supplier at
CreateSpace.com is easy and safe, with quick delivery via Fed Ex or U.S. Mail (usually 2 weeks). It is a little more expensive to buy the hard copies, but they are high quality products that are straight forward to use, and will last a lifetime!
If you are hip to downloading zipped files, know how to use MP3's, or like to collect eBooks, or just want it NOW, the digital download system is safe and easy to use, and made just for you! Most of our downloads come in "zipped folders" so that we can put more than one file in there for you.... for instance, tipsheets on using the MP3's, extra eBooks, eBook and MP3 combination packages, etc.
**If you really like to read books, and don't have a hand held "Reader" I would personally recommend a paperback.... PDF eBooks are great, but unless you can put a PDF on your PDA, cell phone or a "Reader" you will be tied to the computer, and many of our titles are 100+ pages, so printing them out may not be any cheaper than buying a paperback anyways!
What are the download formats?
The MP3's are 192 Bits, and will fit nicely onto your MP3 player, or you can burn them onto a CD yourself. The eBooks are formatted as PDF's. The vast majority of computers (both Mac and PC) can open, read and print a PDF document.
Many of our downloads come in zipped folders. We use this because it condenses large files, and also, we can provide more than one file to our download customers, such as eBook and MP3 combinations, tipsheets, etc.
I can't seem to get the file downloaded
Make sure your internet security settings and anti-virus software is set to allow downloads. You may have to temporarily lower your security settings, or temporarily turn off your anti-virus software.
"Save" the zipped folder rather than "Open". And make sure you know where your purchase gets saved to; your documents folder would be the best place.
Also, make sure you are using a browser that supports zipped downloads; go with Internet Explorer, Mozilla or Netscape. You may have problems with AOL, Compuserve, MSN or NetZero.
The folder is "0 kbs" and is empty or "corrupted"
Some customers using a "download accelerator" program have reported that the zipped folder downloads as "empty" or "corrupted". We don't know why this happens, but suggest you just let the download accelerator keep running, even if it seems to show no progress (these ARE unusally LARGE folders, even compressed), or retry downloading the file without the download accelerator.
Also, If your zipped file appears to be corrupted, you may not be using a supported browser. Try Internet Explorer, Mozilla or Netscape for downloading. If you are using an AOL, CompuServe, MSN or Net Zero browser, please try switching to Internet Explorer, Mozilla or Netscape instead for downloading your file. Also, read the unzipping instructions below.

How do I "unzip" a folder?
If you have Windows ME, XP or higher, simply "right click" on the folder, then choose "extract all" and follow the steps. Apple OS X, just double click on the folder. If you have an old computer, you may need to install an "extraction" program, such as Win Zip which you can use for 30 days free, or WinRAR for Windows PC computers, or
StuffIt for Windows, MAC, Linux, etc. It's really pretty easy, and having a means to open compressed files, and also to create them yourself, can be very valuable if you don't already have it. (If this "techno-talk" confuses or causes you stress, consider buying a CD or paperback instead.)
These are the "Unzipping" instructions you will receive with the download.
*Please make sure your internet security settings and virus software will allow for downloads. Use the link below to enter the download center.
**Also, these are big files; do not run a bunch of operations on your computer (especially if it is an old computer) while trying to download. Just have the one window open, and just simply let it download.

****Make sure your browser is not configured always open ZIP files, without asking you first. To fix this, open up any Windows Explorer window, Tools/Folder Options, then on the File Types tab find ZIP files and click Advanced. Finally, make sure the 'Confirm open after download' box is checked.
*****You can also double click on the zipped folder to enter it, and "drag" the contents of the folder out onto the desktop, or copy and paste to your documents folder. This will copy the files to the new loacation.

If you are using an AOL, CompuServe, MSN or Net Zero browser, please try switching to Internet Explorer, Mozilla or Netscape instead for downloading your file. Internet Explorer seems to work best.
*****Go to Internet Options and choose the Advanced tab. Under Settings, find the Use HTTP 1.1 setting. Uncheck this setting and Apply.
****Make you sure you delete the Temporary Internet Files under the General Tab and Delete button so that you download new copies of files.
*****Depending on the program you use, if the zip file is too large and some programs won't open them; with WinZip for instance, go to the "Restore scheduled job", select your job and click on the backup file. The bottom pane should show all files in the zip.

Are sound therapy programs safe?
There is a CAUTION.... if you suffer from a seizure disorder, or a serious mental illness such as pschizophenia or a psychotic disorder, or have suffered a brain injury or head trauma, we advise you to NOT use sound therapy programs. But for the majority of people, these programs are safe. Always use common sense;
don't drive, use heavy machinery, cook, or do anything potentially dangerous and requiring your full attention while using ANY self hypnosis, subliminal sound therapy or binaural beat program. When you first start using a sound therapy program, it might feel a little "different" or "weird" at first, but use common sense,
and listen to your body; if you experience uncomfortable symptoms, or exacerbation of current symptoms, discontinue use.
Can I get personal counseling?
Dr. Jane Ma'ati Smith C.Hyp. Msc.D. is currently not taking any new clients, but we do provide listings for live, professional counselors, available 24/7. For live, independant counseling, 24/7, click here.
Why does the program I purchased look wrong on iTunes?
The problem with iTunes is, that the CDs produced by our publisher are not submitted to the iTunes library like the major music companies, so iTunes scans the closest match, in length, format, etc. and comes up with something.... wrong. Other independant artists and musicians have also reported this problem. iTunes only accepts submissions from major music labels and distributors, so small, independant musicians and artists generally get mislabeled. Same with the downloaded MP3s. But rest assured, the programs are produced by us, and are the right thing.
